Job Description

A Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business operations by using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives. This position is essential for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, often involving working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and the bigger picture goals. As a Business Analyst, you will analyze and model existing and future processes, coordinate with different departments, and contribute to strategic planning and business change initiatives. With strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, you will ensure that business needs are well understood and met through technology solutions and process improvements.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and model business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements and objectives.
  • Create detailed business analysis documentation for stakeholders and executives.
  • Propose solutions and strategies to enhance business processes and performance.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to ensure milestones are met as planned.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to develop and implement technical solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and foster collaboration.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging best practices in business analysis.
  • Assist in the testing and deployment of new systems to ensure functionality.
  • Train and support users in adopting new systems or processes initiated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role for the business domain.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and modelling tools such as Excel or Tableau.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tackling obstacles.
