Job Description

A Telesales Specialist is a dynamic and strategic communications professional who plays a pivotal role in driving sales via telephonic interactions. They are responsible for reaching out to potential and existing customers, utilizing their excellent communication skills to promote products and services, drive conversions, and build customer relationships that last. With a focus on understanding the customer's needs, a Telesales Specialist aims to offer tailored solutions that fulfill those needs while meeting sales targets. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between the company and the customer, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective and persuasive selling techniques. Telesales Specialists are also tasked with maintaining up-to-date knowledge about company products and services and using this information to answer any queries and overcome objections.


Responsibilities

  • Initiate calls to prospective and existing customers to promote company products.
  • Understand customer needs through effective listening and asking probing questions.
  • Provide comprehensive product information to potential clients during calls.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive selling techniques.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into successful sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all calls and sales in the CRM system.
  • Handle customer complaints and objections in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align on sales strategies and targets.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through training.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and competitive offers.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to sales planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a telesales role or similar sales/customer service position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage customers.
  • Strong persuasive skills with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to handle rejection and objections positively and professionally.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related digital tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
