Job Description

The Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative plays a critical role in advancing the mission and vision of our biopharmaceutical company by enhancing customer relationships, promoting our cutting-edge products, and driving sales within a designated territory. This individual is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value accounts and forging strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and other stakeholders within the medical community. As a key figure in the sales team, they are expected to possess an in-depth understanding of our products, the science behind them, and the pharmaceutical market dynamics. The role demands excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a patient-centric approach, ensuring that healthcare providers have the resources and support necessary to improve patient outcomes. The Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative also plays an educational role, providing insights and training to healthcare personnel regarding the use and benefits of our products.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities in the biopharmaceutical market to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct sales presentations to healthcare providers ensuring comprehensive product understanding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with marketing objectives.
  • Regularly analyze market trends to adjust sales tactics and meet business objectives.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts within a designated territory.
  • Provide detailed product and scientific training to healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Participate in conferences, seminars, and other promotional events to represent the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, outcomes, and customer feedback in CRM systems.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing top-notch service and support for products.
  • Work closely with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance in all sales activities.
  • Forecast and achieve sales targets consistently by implementing effective strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sales.
  • Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory with a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools effectively.
