Job Description

As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for our guests. You will be the friendly face that welcomes guests as they arrive, assisting them with check-in and check-out procedures, and providing them with information about the hotel's offerings. Your exemplary customer service skills will come into play as you promptly respond to guest inquiries, resolve any issues, and handle requests. This position requires a combination of excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for making a positive impact on guests' stay experiences. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience at our establishment, ensuring guests leave with memorable and positive impressions.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure prompt service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and preferences in the system.
  • Ensure that the front desk remains organized and presentable at all times.
  • Promote and upsell hotel services and amenities to increase guest satisfaction.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions following the hotel's procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including report preparation and data entry.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and positive environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and other computer applications.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A strong customer-oriented mindset with attention to detail in service.
