Overall Purpose of The Job

To support the documentation process and record keeping of dry-docking function for all completed, in-progress and upcoming dry docks. This includes data collection, data handling, document formatting, digital filling of forms and checklists, reporting tasks in the docking portal.

This role is designated for candidates with less than 2 years of experience with Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture background, looking to grow technically towards Dry Docking Project Management.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• Collect documents / data from fleet cell regarding next dry docking and keep the checklist and tracker up to date.
• Upload and organise files in SharePoint, following proper naming structure of various vessels drawings, specifications, job reports, executive summaries and other project related documents.
• Support preparation of Client documentation packs of templates for projects customised documents from the templates.
• Support basic VesselMan queries likes users management, maintaining training record books for stakeholders.
• Support the record keeping of project done by docking function with audit-ready digital records.
• Generate basic Management Information System (MIS) and dashboards using Power BI, Excel and SharePoint lists.
  
  

• Recognized Marine Engineering qualification / Naval Architecture with/without relevant experience at sea.
• Good communication (oral and written) and English language skills,
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact with people at all levels.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Basic to Intermediate level MS-Word, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint Power Point.
• Strong willingness to learn technical systems and good organizational skills, and keen interest to grow in Dry Docking support function.
  
  

• Basic understanding of Dry-Docking activities from start to finish.
• Good knowledge of latest data handling and visualisation tools such as MS excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.
