Software Engineer - Backend

We are looking for a Software Engineer – Backend to join our engineering team and help build scalable web applications and APIs.

The ideal candidate should have experience developing backend services, working with relational databases, and building REST APIs. You will collaborate with frontend engineers and other team members to design, implement, test, and maintain reliable software.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures throughout backend services.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend components to ensure reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle and deployment processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot backend systems in production environments to ensure high availability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a backend software engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with database technologies including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of cloud services and deployment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred).
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
