Job Description

A Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in healthcare facilities, providing compassionate care to patients while supporting doctors and other medical staff. They assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate on ongoing patient care plans. An RN is often tasked with being the primary point of contact for patients, helping to communicate their needs and ensuring their comfort and well-being. In addition to patient care, Registered Nurses also keep meticulous records and ensure that all medical procedures adhere to hospital standards and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other team members on patient care strategies.
  • Educate patients and their families on detailed medical procedures and care plans.
  • Maintain sterile environments by following established infection control practices rigorously.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies, providing immediate care or escalation as needed.
  • Prepare patients for surgical and diagnostic procedures, including obtaining consent forms.
  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor vital signs and assist with medical examinations and tests as necessary.
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay informed on latest practices.
  • Facilitate the discharge process, providing follow-up care instructions and resources.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using medical software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse patient interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently without compromising quality of care.
  • Commitment to following health and safety guidelines meticulously at all times.
  • Remaining physically fit to meet the demands of a fast-paced working environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
