Job Description

As an Interior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation and execution of interior design projects. You will liaise with designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. You will be responsible for day-to-day site management, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, while effectively managing resources and workflow. Your expertise in project management and interior design, coupled with your leadership skills, will be critical to delivering visually appealing and functional interior spaces. Your role will require you to multitask across various projects, adapting to the needs of clients and resolving any challenges that may arise on-site.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with architects, designers, and contractors to align project objectives.
  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ensure the high quality of workmanship is maintained throughout all project phases.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Resolve any unexpected technical challenges that may arise during project execution.
  • Manage the procurement and allocation of materials and resources efficiently.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing any of their concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project reports and documentation.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing on materials.
  • Coordinate installation schedules with various trades to maintain project flow.
  • Ensure effective communication is maintained among all project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an interior site manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles and construction processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address any site challenges swiftly.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools like AutoCAD or SketchUp.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with diverse project teams efficiently.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and building codes within the industry.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as necessary.
