Job Description

As a Food Quality Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all food products meet the highest safety and quality standards before they reach the market. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and finished products for quality assurance.
  • Implement standard operating procedures to maintain high standards of food quality.
  • Evaluate production operations for compliance with established quality control standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of inspection and test data for reference.
  • Collaborate with production team to address and resolve quality control issues promptly.
  • Train and educate staff on proper food handling and quality control inspections.
  • Perform audits of suppliers and vendors to ensure adherence to quality agreements.
  • Analyze data trends and report on quality metrics to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in food quality technology.
  • Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with development teams to implement new quality assurance practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food quality control or assurance roles is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements, like HACCP.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for meticulous quality inspections.
  • Proficient in using quality control data analysis and documentation software programs.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively report findings and train team members.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
