We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draughtsman to join our dynamic engineering team. You will work closely with engineers and architects to interpret specifications and create precise technical designs. Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret project specifications.
• Use CAD software effectively to produce accurate engineering designs.
• Revise existing plans to reflect industry standards and engineering changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry and company regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all drafts and revisions for project files.
• Inspect and review engineering drawings before final submission.
• Assist in calculating material quantities and prepare cost estimates.
• Liaise with project managers to understand and meet project deadlines.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafting staff.
• Attend project meetings to discuss and resolve any drafting-related issues.
• Prepare presentation and design layout drawings when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman, preferably in infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software is essential.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for engineering projects.
• Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) is an advantage.
