Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department within an organization, assisting in the development and execution of HR strategies, processes, and services. They are responsible for ensuring that HR policies are adhered to and that the company’s staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker who can handle multiple tasks, from recruitment to employee relations, and support the HR manager in implementing programs that enhance professional development, employee engagement, and company culture. As an integral part of the HR team, the Assistant Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure harmonious labor relations and maintaining a positive environment conducive to achieving organizational goals.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee and lead recruitment processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent efficiently.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and corporate policies across all HR facets.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive work environment and organizational culture.
  • Analyze HR metrics to assess performance and develop improvements in HR programs.
  • Manage employee performance review processes, ensuring timely feedback and assessments.
  • Support payroll processing and resolve related inquiries efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with department managers regarding employee engagement and performance management strategies.
  • Assist in developing policies that foster workplace diversity and inclusion programs.
  • Maintain and update employee records ensuring integrity and confidentiality of HR data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a human resources or related role is essential.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with employees.
  • Proven experience in handling employee relations and resolving workplace conflicts.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and tools for efficient HR management tasks.
