Job Description

As a Software Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our company's software solutions. You will serve as the knowledgeable bridge between our technical team and potential clients, ensuring that customers understand how our software can meet their specific needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, who can effectively convey complex technological concepts in a clear and compelling manner. As you explore sales opportunities, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, helping to tailor our products and services to align with their business objectives. Your expertise will contribute significantly to achieving our sales targets and expanding our market presence.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet individual sales targets.
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to customize software solutions for clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales deals successfully.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our software products and industry trends.
  • Provide after-sales support to clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, performance, and market feedback.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Stay updated with new product features and enhancements of our software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software sales or a related technical sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand client needs.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing sales processes and pipeline.
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
