Job Description
- Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies aligned with project goals and corporate policies.
- Prepare procurement plans, including timelines, sourcing strategies, and budget estimates.
- Manage the tendering process for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services — from RFQ/RFP to bid evaluation and award.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to secure the best value and minimize risk.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards.
- Monitor vendor and supplier performance, addressing issues related to quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, logistics, and finance teams to coordinate purchasing activities.
- Oversee purchase order creation, approval workflows, and ERP system updates.
- Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards, legal requirements, and environmental/social governance (ESG) criteria.
