Job Description

A Speech and Language Therapist plays a crucial role in diagnosing, evaluating, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. These specialists work with patients across all ages, from children with developmental speech delays to adults recovering from strokes or traumatic brain injuries. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field is required.
  • License to practice as a speech therapist within the state.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse patient populations.
  • Compassion and patience to work with individuals experiencing communication challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
