Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact between our service department and customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Your main role will involve consulting with clients about their vehicle service needs, providing advice, and managing the repair and maintenance process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen ability to build and maintain relationships, and a comprehensive understanding of automotive maintenance and repair. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and understand their vehicle service needs and concerns.
  • Provide comprehensive advice on vehicle service and repair options available.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records of customer interactions and services.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the service technicians.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
  • Manage appointments and service schedules to optimize department efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly and constructively with technicians about vehicle issues.
  • Prepare service cost estimates and discuss repair options with customers.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage for vehicle repairs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high standards of service quality.
  • Promote additional services and products to customers when appropriate.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns related to services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all customer transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with service software.
