Sales Engineer Oil And Gas Electrical Products

Element is hiring for a client— a well-established UAE-based electrical trading, distribution and manufacturing company with decades of experience in the market.

The client supplies a wide range of electrical and industrial productsto customers across the Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial, infrastructure and construction sectors. With strong stockholding, project capabilities and in-house switchgear manufacturing, the company works with contractors, consultants, project companies and industrial customers across the UAE.

About The Role

The client is looking for a Sales Engineer with 5–7 years of UAE experience in technical sales, preferably within the Oil & Gas, electrical or industrial products sector.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, proven project-sales experience and an established network within the UAE market.

Key Product Experience

Candidates Should Have Experience Selling Similar Products, Particularly

• Cable Glands & Cable Lugs
• Instrumentation & Control Cables
• LV/MV Power Cables
• Cable Management & Conduit Systems
• Earthing & Lightning Protection Products
• Electrical Components & Switchgear
• MDB / SMDB / MCC and Control Panels
  
  

Experience with products used in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, industrial or hazardous-area applications will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business and manage existing accounts across the UAE.
• Identify and pursue opportunities within Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial and electrical projects.
• Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, E&I contractors, Oil & Gas companies, consultants, procurement teams and project engineers.
• Generate and follow up on RFQs, tenders and project enquiries.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations and negotiate with customers.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits and technical product presentations.
• Understand project specifications and recommend suitable products.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through quotation, negotiation and order closure.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve assigned sales targets.
  
  

Requirements

• 5–7 years of UAE experiencein technical sales.
• Proven experience selling electrical products to Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial or project-based customers.
• Strong existing network within the UAE electrical/Oil & Gas market.
• Experience dealing with EPC contractors, E&I contractors, consultants and procurement teams.
• Strong understanding of electrical products and industrial applications.
• Experience with project sales, RFQs, tenders and technical/commercial negotiations.
• Engineering qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation is preferred.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.

We are specifically looking for someone who is already selling similar electrical products in the UAE and has an established customer network within the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors.

Candidates from electrical manufacturers, distributors, stockists or specialist Oil & Gas suppliers with a proven sales track record will be strongly preferred.
