Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the healthcare team by providing direct patient care and supporting a comprehensive care plan. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of healthcare tasks including administering medication, monitoring patient recovery, and educating patients about health management. Registered Nurses are essential in facilitating communication between doctors, patients, and their families, ensuring that the patients are informed and supported throughout their healthcare journey. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care and ensure that all medical procedures and administrative tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.


Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, hands-on patient care, including administering medications and treatments.
  • Monitor patients' conditions carefully and report any significant changes to the healthcare provider.
  • Document patients' medical histories and maintain accurate records of their progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, management, and recovery processes.
  • Conduct assessments to ensure appropriate nursing interventions are applied based on patient needs.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment to ensure accurate patient diagnostics and care outcomes.
  • Assist in laboratory work, including blood draws and specimen collection for testing purposes.
  • Ensure patient rooms and workstations are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay updated on nursing practices.
  • Support and supervise junior nursing staff and contribute to a cooperative work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards of nursing practice.

Requirements

  • Must possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practice.
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program required.
  • Experience of at least one year in a clinical healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are necessary for managing patient workloads.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environments.
  • Proficiency in modern healthcare technology and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
