Junior Accountant (225-707)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on historical data and projections.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files in an organized manner.
• Help monitor day-to-day transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
• Assist in auditing financial documents such as invoices, expense claims, and bank statements.
• Prepare tax documents and support in filing monthly and annual tax returns.
• Provide support to senior accountants and assist with various accounting projects.
• Participate in financial data analysis to identify trends and financial insights.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports with pertinent financial details.
• Help maintain system improvements and enhancements within the finance department.
• Ensure all financial transactions are entered into the accounting system promptly and accurately.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with accounting software is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
