Job Description

The Guest Service Executive plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer experiences by overseeing various front office operations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This position involves interacting with guests to attend to their inquiries, complaints, and requests, providing efficient services to make their stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. As an ambassador of the company, the Guest Service Executive is expected to perform duties with professionalism and excellence, fostering relationships with clients to promote a positive brand image. They work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations while handling unexpected situations with poise and tact. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and efficiently manage their check-in process.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guests' inquiries and complaints.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address issues timely.
  • Assist guests in making reservations, bookings, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services and local attractions.
  • Monitor and manage the lobby area to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Handle guest transactions, including payments and billing inquiries, accurately.
  • Develop personalized rapport with guests to enhance their experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the premises.
  • Implement and maintain the highest standards of guest hospitality at all times.
  • Communicate guest feedback to upper management for service improvements.
  • Assist with guest departure procedures and provide efficient check-out services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a front office or guest services role essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with office and hospitality management software applications.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
