Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions and therapeutic goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Apply cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to address client-specific challenges.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions to promote mental health and emotional well-being.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, for holistic care.
• Provide crisis intervention and management as needed in emergency situations.
• Document client sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
• Advocate for clients' needs and connect them with additional community resources when necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in behavioral therapy methods.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• State licensure or certification as a Behavioral Therapist 
• Proven experience working with diverse populations in a therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills with clients.
• Capacity to manage confidential and sometimes sensitive information responsibly.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical therapeutic practice.
