Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Applied Behaviour Analyst to join our team and contribute towards meaningful changes in the lives of our clients. As an Applied Behaviour Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing behavior intervention plans tailored to the needs of each client. You will work closely with clients and their families, as well as collaborate with other professionals, to ensure effective strategies are in place. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavior assessments to determine client needs and challenges.
  • Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results.
  • Regularly monitor, evaluate, and modify intervention plans to ensure effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to address client needs effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to support staff and family members on intervention techniques.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of client progress and data collection activities.
  • Analyze data to measure the success of implemented behavior intervention plans.
  • Prepare and present progress reports on client developments to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and integrate best practices into intervention plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing strategic program initiatives.
  • Advocate for client needs within the community and ensure access to necessary resources.
  • Maintain professional certification and continue ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field required.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) necessary for this position.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with behavioral needs.
  • Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and intervention techniques essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, families, and professionals.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for data interpretation and strategic intervention planning.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to meet the needs of clients and support staff.
