Telephone Operator

Job Description

Summary-

We are looking for a Telephone Operator to manage all incoming calls in a fast-paced office setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing calls to the appropriate departments, taking messages when needed, and providing excellent customer service over the phone.

The position is based at The Cove Rotana Resort.

Job Responsibility-

• Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Direct calls to the appropriate person or department
• Take accurate and detailed messages when necessary
• Provide information to callers and assist with inquiries
• Maintain a log of calls and ensure all messages are relayed in a timely manner
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a telephone operator or similar role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using telephone systems and office equipment
  
  

• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to handle multiple phone lines
• Proficiency in operating telephone systems
• Good listening skills
• Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Attention to detail
• Multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette
• Familiarity with basic computer applications
