Job Role:

 

Responsible for executing and overseeing the calibration, qualification, and maintenance of instruments, equipment, and utility systems. The role ensures equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and timely completion of calibration activities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform calibration activities for instruments and equipment, including maintenance and new installations.
  • Review and verify calibration work, documents, and maintenance schedules, and confirm user decisions in SAP to ensure reliability and uptime.
  • Coordinate with contractors or third parties to ensure work is completed on time and meets all requirements.
  • Provide technical advice and support on calibration and instrumentation projects and plans.
  • Aware for the utilities Qualification for Heating Ventilation and Air conditioning system, Water system and Gases qualification.
  • Shall be able to perform the qualification (IQ, OQ and PQ) for the Utilities and Equipment.
  • Review processes regularly and recommend or implement corrective action when needed.
  • Support planning of calibration projects, including contractor selection, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following company standards, procedures, and legal safety rules.
  • Support monitoring and control of department budgets and expenses.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments to align with company objectives.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and provide related technical recommendations.
  • Ensure all work follows site safety rules and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
  • Create, monitor, and follow up on Deviations, Change Controls (CC), and CAPAs in Ample Logic.
  • Follow up on PR/PO for the calibration department and coordinate with suppliers on delivery of material.

 

Qualification & Experience:

 

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in the engineering / pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in qualification and calibration and instrumentation work, with knowledge of installation practices, applicable codes/regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Experience with SAP & EQMS.
  • Awareness of ISO-17025 guidelines.
  • Certification in uncertainty calculation measurement is an advantage.
