Pool Plant Operator

Job Description

Summary-

As a Pool Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of pool plants to ensure the cleanliness and safety of swimming pools in compliance with regulations.

This position is based at The Cove Rotana Ras al Khaimah.

Job Responsibility-

• Operate and maintain pool plant equipment such as pumps, filters, chlorinators, and chemical feed systems.
• Monitor and adjust chemical levels in the pool water to ensure proper disinfection and pH balance.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities to identify and address any issues promptly.
• Keep accurate records of water quality, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.
• Respond to and resolve any customer complaints or concerns related to pool water quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards at all times.
• Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
  
  

• Prior experience working as a Pool Plant Operator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of pool plant equipment operation and maintenance.
• Understanding of water chemistry and treatment methods.
• Certification in pool operation or water treatment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
  
  

• Understanding of chemical safety and handling procedures
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot pool equipment
• Strong attention to detail in monitoring water quality and temperature
• Certification in pool operation or relevant field
• Physical stamina for working outdoors and performing manual tasks
• Good communication skills to interact with other staff and guests
• Ability to follow health and safety regulations and protocols
