Job Description:

We are looking for a Testing & Commissioning Planner who will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling the schedule and progress of testing and commissioning activities for assigned project. This role ensures all activities are executed efficiently, in compliance with project timelines, technical requirements, and safety standards. Location: Ras-Al-Khaimah, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed T&C schedules using project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to integrate T&C activities into the overall project schedule.
  • Identify critical paths, dependencies, and potential delays, providing mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of T&C activities.
  • Organize and participate in T&C coordination meetings, providing updates on progress and schedules.
  • Ensure resource availability for planned activities (personnel, tools, materials).
  • Track progress against the approved schedule, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, highlighting risks, delays, and proposed solutions.
  • Maintain documentation of testing and commissioning procedures, results, and records.
  • Ensure all T&C activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Support the preparation of test plans, method statements, and commissioning procedures.
  • Facilitate inspections and approvals from relevant authorities where required.
  • Qualifications:
  • BSc in Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in project planning within engineering, construction, or industrial projects.
  • Experience in testing and commissioning activities for infrastructure, rail, power, or large-scale engineering projects is a plus.
