Job Description

Summary-

We are looking for a skilled Commis III to assist our kitchen team in preparing delicious meals according to our restaurant's menu. The Commis III will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

This position is based at The Cove Rotana Ras al Khaimah.

Job Responsibility-

• Preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks under the supervision of a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
• Following recipes and food preparation processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including food storage areas.
• Assisting with food inventory management and stock rotation.
• Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Commis III or similar role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
• Physical endurance to stand for long hours and lift heavy kitchen equipment.
• Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
