Job Description

The QA QC Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that products meet or exceed the quality standards and specifications of the organization and relevant regulations. They are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a team of quality professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of quality assurance methodologies. This role requires collaboration with other departments to ensure compliance and to spearhead corrective and preventive actions. The QA QC Manager serves as the guardian of the company's standards, ensuring products delivered to customers are of the highest quality and reliability.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and control systems and procedures.
  • Lead and supervise a team of QA/QC professionals to achieve targets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards across all products.
  • Analyze quality data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and tools.
  • Manage the documentation and record-keeping of quality assurance processes.
  • Train and develop personnel in quality assurance and control best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends to enhance quality processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a QA/QC managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing QA systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required
  • Knowledge in ISO/QMS/ASTM Standards.
