Yoga Instructor

The yoga instructor is responsible for leading yoga classes and guiding students in their practice. They create a safe and welcoming environment for students to improve their physical and mental well-being through yoga. This job requires a strong knowledge of different yoga styles, anatomy, and teaching techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver yoga classes tailored to students' needs and skill levels.
• Teach yoga poses, sequences, and breathing techniques.
• Demonstrate proper alignment and modifications for different body types and abilities.
• Provide individualized guidance and adjustments to students during classes.
• Educate students about the benefits of yoga and mindfulness.
• Maintain a clean and safe yoga studio environment.
• Lead meditation and relaxation sessions.
• Continuously learn and update knowledge of yoga practices and techniques.

• Certification from a recognized fitness organization, such as ACE or NASM.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals.
• Previous experience in personal training is preferred.
