X-Ray Technician

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in order to effectively collaborate with other healthcare professionals and maintain detailed patient records. A high school diploma or equivalent and certification in radiography are required for this position. Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality medical images for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients correctly and ensure their safety and comfort during the imaging process.
• Follow proper procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate image interpretation and diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks to ensure operational readiness.
• Educate patients about the imaging procedures and answer any questions they may have.
• Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with patient scheduling and coordination of imaging services as needed.
• Work effectively as part of a healthcare team to provide timely and accurate diagnostic imaging services.

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Certification in radiography or radiologic technology
• State licensure as a radiologic technologist
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures
• Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology
