Warehouse Assistant (225-725)

Responsibilities

• Receive and process warehouse stock products including ordering, receiving, and storing.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts on schedule.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area in a clean and functional manner.
• Inspect products for damages or defects and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and checking product delivery accuracy.
• Label and stock items on shelves and prepare merchandise for shipment.
• Ensure warehouse doors are secured and equipment is shut down at end of day.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure efficient workflow and warehousing operations.
• Perform routine maintenance on warehouse tools and equipment as needed.
• Follow safety practices to prevent injuries and maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage outbound shipments and deliveries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in tracking shipments to be delivered to appropriate destinations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational certification required for the position.
• Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and conducting physical tasks daily.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy in tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively for tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with team members.
