Within the Middle East & Africa adjacent markets, there are 13 stores: The market headcount is approx. 280, and a dynamic market.

Over the last few years, the luxury markets have seen a shift in the way that consumers think about and acquire luxury brands. More than ever, the consumer is focused not only on brands, but is now placing equal importance on design, fashion, innovation and client experience. The Company, like many luxury brands, has found that the traditional means of acquiring and maintaining customers is evolving.

Bearing this in mind, the company is seeking a globally minded executive with a luxury background who is currently either in or can move into a general management role.

The Position

The VP/MD will have experience in the Middle East market. Reporting to the EMEA President, the MD is responsible for leading P&L and driving business growth strategies in the region. Key responsibilities will include strengthening retail, business sales, direct marketing channels (including e-commerce), and enhancing organizational capabilities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate business acumen and transformational leadership to elevate the brand within the Middle East & Africa. This individual will be a visionary, focused on maximizing sales and business development opportunities, while combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. They will foster open communication and collaboration between the parent company and local teams.

Possessing a proven track record of building a high-performing, result-oriented organization is essential. You will also have a strong understanding of luxury market dynamics, which is crucial, along with a passion for shaping a premium brand experience.

The successful candidate will combine structured thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating agility, resilience, and a blend of analytical and creative skills. They will provide constructive feedback while respecting existing progress and balance a luxury positioning with the brand’s accessibility and commitment to strong customer relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales growth and operational excellence across retail, e-commerce, trade and other business development channels
  • Shaping a client-centric culture that moves beyond transactional interactions to long-term brand relationships
  • Elevating brand presence, in-store experience, and CRM engagement across all channels
  • Building, coaching, and empowering a high-performing leadership team
  • Leading strategic decisions around store network evolution – including openings, closures, and renovations
  • Developing market-specific strategies based on deep consumer insights, including local and tourist demographics
  • Aligning the Middle East operations with global brand values, ensuring luxury execution with warmth and accessibility


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within luxury retail or consumer goods
  • Full P&L ownership and a track record of business unit transformation and growth
  • Industry experience in jewelry, fashion, accessories, or cosmetics highly preferred
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to attract, retain, and inspire talent
  • A balanced profile: strong commercial acumen and creative brand sensibility
  • Deep understanding of client experience in luxury retail and the shift toward omnichannel journey
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Fluent English; additional European languages and Arabic is a plus
