Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Doctor to join our team. As a Veterinary Doctor, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various animal health conditions. You will perform surgeries, administer medications, and provide routine check-ups. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of animal biology and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose illnesses or injuries.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for various animal health conditions.
- Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering, tumor removals, and orthopedic procedures.
- Prescribe medications and provide proper dosages to animals.
- Administer vaccinations and preventive care treatments.
- Educate and advise pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and veterinary assistants to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases.
- Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with pet owners and staff members.
