Job Description

A Van Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the sales operations of a company by driving sales vans, managing stock, and establishing strong customer relationships. Responsibilities

  • Drive the company van to transport products to various customer locations.
  • Manage and organize the stock within the van to ensure easy access.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to the clients.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service.
  • Conduct sales transactions efficiently and accurately at each customer visit.
  • Monitor and report any stock shortages or discrepancies immediately.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet personal sales targets.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide information on product features and benefits.
  • Complete all necessary sales paperwork and reports within the specified time frame.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to align on communication and sales goals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of the vehicle for safe operations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations regarding driving and sales.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Prior experience in sales or a customer service role is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and calculating discounts.
  • Physical fitness as the job requires manual handling of heavy stock.
  • A keen interest in sales with a customer-oriented approach.
