DESCRIPTION

Spend Management:

  • Develop quarterly promo strategy by retailer for top retailers in UAE, in line with RGM/Category guidelines
  • Develop quarterly promo strategy by channel for Oman & Qatar, in line with RGM/Category guidelines
  • Plan, track & optimize weekly trade spend & ensure execution as per plan
  • Plan & track monthly BTL A&P spend and ensure execution as per plan
  • Collaborate with RGM to identify and implement revenue growth initiatives
  • Work closely with Sales & Customer Service to minimize ageing stock

Forecasting:

  • Work closely with the Sales Managers & Distributors to set and align monthly forecast by SKU as per S&OP timelines
  • Assess R&Os for the month and work closely with the cross-functional teams to mitigate risks & capture the opps
  • Collaborate with sales on by week forecasting for top retailers (promo, leaflet, secondary…)

In-store Execution & Activations:

  • Create and review, on quarterly basis, channel-specific MSL & planogram
  • Develop category POSM calendar and coordinate with agencies and sales to track and ensure execution
  • Plan with the sales team leaflet/secondary by customer for top retailers
  • Lead the brand ambassadors planning from candidate selection to execution & results
  • Develop with marketing the yearly activation plan & ensure customer-wise BIC execution
  • Liaise robustly with the Trade Marketing Teams at the distributors/ADC to align all the above

NPD Launch:

  • Work closely with marketing on launching NPD’s (pricing, volume, launch event, visibility)
  • Actively track performance on NPDs across all pillars (listing, distribution, shelf share, feature share, IMS performance, ageing)

Reporting:

  • Conduct monthly retail audit analysis & plan accordingly (Nielsen & EPOS) with the support of sales analysts
  • Proactively prepare reports/reviews on coverage, in-store executions, promo performance, trade spend
  • Actively track & report competitors activity by market the support of distributors
  • Perform regular field visits to receive first-hand insights on POP execution, promo results etc

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, specialization in Marketing / Sales Management preferred

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in consumer products / packaged goods sector
  • Experience in Food Service
  • Business knowledge in the GULF region
  • Experience in Trade Marketing / Category Management is required

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from a reputed University; specialization in Marketing / Sales Management preferred

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in consumer products / packaged goods sector
  • Experience in Food Service
  • Business knowledge in the GULF region is a plus
  • Experience in Trade Marketing / Category Management is required
