Technical Engineer - Electrical

Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Engineer – Electrical with experience in building construction projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, reviewing electrical designs, and coordinating electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure accurate execution of electrical works.

Assist in the preparation of technical submittals, material approvals, and shop drawings.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

Resolve technical issues related to electrical systems during construction.

Ensure adherence to UAE electrical codes, standards, and client requirements.

Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes for electrical systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Technical Engineer in building construction projects in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low current systems.

Familiarity with UAE electrical codes, DEWA standards, and local authority requirements.

Proficient in AutoCAD and other electrical design and project management software.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
