Technical Discipline Lead Wet Utilities

We are seeking an experienced Technical Discipline Lead – Wet Utilities to join our growing team. This is a senior leadership role where you will play a pivotal part in shaping the technical direction of our water-focused projects, mentoring the next generation of engineers, and driving excellence across design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentorship and Leadership: Guide, coach and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
• Project Pursuits: Support business development through technical input on bids and proposals, client engagement and authority liaison.
• Technical Delivery: Lead and review the design of potable water, sewerage and stormwater networks, including hydraulic modelling, pipeline design and system integration.
• Regional Expertise: Apply your knowledge of the GCC market, particularly the UAE and KSA, to ensure compliance with local authority requirements and standards.
• Technical Assurance: Conduct detailed technical reviews across hydraulics, pipeline engineering and multidisciplinary interfaces to ensure robust and innovative solutions.
• Team Management: Oversee and guide n engineering teams, ensuring collaboration, quality and efficiency across multiple complex projects.
• Client & Authority Engagement: Develop strong relationships with clients and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective communication, presentation and approvals.
  
  

• Extensive technical expertise in wet utilities, with proven experience in water industry design and delivery.
• Strong background in potable, sewerage and stormwater network design, including hydraulic modelling and civil engineering design.
• Demonstrated experience working within the GCC, particularly in the UAE and KSA, with strong knowledge of authority processes and requirements.
• Experience across both strategic masterplanning and water-sector project types is highly advantageous, equipping you to address challenges from broad frameworks to detailed design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to clients, stakeholders and teams.
• A collaborative leadership style, with the capability to inspire and manage large multidisciplinary teams.
