Tech Maintenance Assistant

What You Will Do

As a Technician Maintenance Assistant, you’ll support HVAC service operations across large-scale commercial and institutional projects. You’ll install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems including compressors, condensing units, evaporators, valves, and controls.

You’ll use your HVAC expertise to conduct site surveys and inspections, recommending system upgrades when needed. Regular customer engagement will help you understand needs and deliver tailored technical solutions. Strong planning and time management will be key to handling multiple priorities.

How You Will Do It

• Perform daily HVAC service and maintenance tasks per company standards.
• Support retrofit and maintenance projects for hospitals, retail, and commercial buildings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for HVAC installations.
• Plan and monitor service activities to ensure consistent execution.
• Attend to critical infrastructure and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify service improvements and growth opportunities.
  
  

Required

What we look for

• Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in servicing, maintenance and overhauling of HVAC Systems, Air Cooled Chillers, Compressor Overhauling, specifically reciprocating and screw compressors.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on HVAC systems mostly on Chillers, Brazing, Vacuum, Pressure Test.
• Ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams of HVAC systems.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Fluent language skills in English.
• Valid Driving License.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with York, Carrier, Daikin, or Trane systems.
• GCC region experience.
• Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting and variable speed drives.
