What You Will Do

You will be a key technical contributor to the design, development, and implementation of the Selection Navigator Chiller Tool, a flagship application supporting configuration and selection of chiller systems across diverse markets. This position, part of the YorkWorks platform and based in China, is for a Technical Lead II focused on hands-on development, technical leadership, and cross-team collaboration to deliver scalable, performance-driven features aligned with product and customer requirements.

• Provide technical leadership in the development of the Selection Navigator Chiller Tool, focusing on modern platforms including .NET Core, Angular 17, Azure Services, and Azure Functions
• Lead feature development and algorithm optimization, with special attention to performance calculations and system scalability
• Collaborate closely with architects and product managers to analyze requirements and convert them into efficient technical solutions
• Work alongside global Scrum teams to plan and execute Agile sprints, ensuring delivery of high-quality code aligned with SDLC milestones
• Perform detailed code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure best practices in development are followed across the engineering team
• Advocate for continuous integration and deployment strategies using Azure DevOps
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve solution design, performance, and maintainability
• Contribute to cross-functional communication and promote collaboration between development, testing, and deployment teams
• Support existing feature maintenance while actively contributing to the evolution of new chiller rating and selection capabilities
  
  

• Develop critical features for the Selection Navigator application using .NET Core, Angular 17, and Azure Functions.
• Partner with software engineers, QA testers, and architects across global teams to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.
• Lead the evolution of chiller rating logic, optimizing algorithms and workflows for speed and accuracy.
• Translate requirements from architects and product teams into technical tasks and implementations.
• Participate actively in code reviews and ensure deliverables meet quality, performance, and security standards.
• Follow agile methodologies for sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative development.
• Investigate and resolve application defects, contributing to stable and timely product releases.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and apply innovations relevant to web and cloud development.
• Champion CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps and promote improvements in software development efficiency.
• Engage with global cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative and transparent development environment.
  
  

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA
• Must have 6-15 years’ experience in enterprise grade development.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core, Web API, and Angular 17 for developing web applications
• Practical knowledge of cloud services using Microsoft Azure and serverless technologies like Azure Functions
• Experience with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and project tracking
• Understands Unit and Integration testing.
• Experience with GIT.
• Familiar with troubleshooting of web applications.
• Ability to work exceptionally effectively in a team environment is required.
• Ability to resolve technical queries of junior team members.
• Self-motivation, flexible and reliable in approach to work
• Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, global Agile teams
• Comfortable working in a SAFe Agile environment with cross-functional collaboration
