Job Description
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international tax regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and related documentation.
- Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities as required.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
- Manage and lead the tax team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to align tax strategies with broader financial goals.
A successful Tax Director should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- You MUST have experience with IRISH TAX - please do not apply without this.
- Professional tax qualifications such as CTA or ACCA are preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations within the transport and distribution industry.
- Proven ability to manage complex tax matters and deliver strategic solutions.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and develop the tax team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant tax and accounting software.
- Competitive salary in the range of AED 37500 to AED 55500 per month.
