Job Description

The Supply Chain Supervisor is a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of supply chain activities from procurement to distribution. This position involves overseeing critical processes like inventory management, vendor relationships, logistics, and workforce supervision. By ensuring that goods are procured, stored, and delivered efficiently, the Supply Chain Supervisor directly impacts the company’s operational success and customer satisfaction levels. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily supply chain operations and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and negotiate favorable contract terms.
  • Coordinate and supervise the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
  • Implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes and inventory control.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
  • Prepare reports and brief senior management on supply chain performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new supply chain staff members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Assist in resolving supply chain-related issues with a strategic approach.
  • Implement and support sustainability initiatives within the supply chain process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics.
  • Proven supervisory experience, preferably within a supply chain environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors and partners.
  • Proficient in using supply chain management software and analytical tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
