Job Description

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our organization's supply chain operations. This includes overseeing the entire process of logistics and inventory management to guarantee that products are correctly scheduled and delivered on time. Your role will involve collaboration with various departments such as procurement, production, and sales to ensure a seamless flow of goods and information. You will be involved in monitoring and analyzing data to improve our processes, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain efficiency. Your strategic thinking and analytical skills will empower you to foresee and solve potential issues, helping sustain our competitive edge in the market.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage supply chain operations to ensure optimal product delivery schedules.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and other departments for effective supply chain implementation.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to support company objectives.
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained with efficiency to meet customer demands.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to reduce cost and improve service levels.
  • Oversee transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely deliveries to clients.
  • Use relevant metrics and analytics to improve forecast accuracy and reduce stock outs.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure high performance and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations of supply chain procedures for compliance and improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports to management on supply chain performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain management role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and IT systems, such as ERP.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective vendor management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
