Genuine is the way.

At SARA Group, authenticity is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in staying true to our values, fostering open collaboration, and continuously pushing ourselves to reach new heights. By being our genuine selves, we create a culture where ideas flow, connections deepen, and great results follow. If you're ready to bring your creative energy and marketing expertise to a place that values authenticity, then this opportunity is for you.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially sharp Procurement & Supply Chain Director to lead the company’s end-to-end supply operations across the Middle East. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and warehouse management, supporting multiple business lines — including retail (in-store and e-commerce), B2B project sales, and distribution.

The ideal candidate brings a regional perspective, strong operational discipline, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. This person will work closely with each division’s VP to co-own procurement strategy and execution, ensuring that supply operations support commercial goals, stock availability, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

Procurement Strategy & Execution

· Co-own procurement planning and execution with the relevant Division VPs, aligning sourcing activities with brand, product, and channel needs.

· Support each business unit in building supplier partnerships, improving pricing and terms, and ensuring alignment with overall business priorities.

· Manage supplier evaluation, onboarding, and contract negotiation processes across all key categories.

· Establish group-wide standards, frameworks, and reporting tools for procurement effectiveness, while respecting the specificity of each division.

Logistics & Distribution Oversight

· Lead regional logistics and transportation strategy to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery across the Middle East.

· Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers for both inbound and outbound operations.

· Monitor delivery SLAs, freight costs, and service reliability; implement corrective actions when needed.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

· Oversee all warehouse operations (central and regional), ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate picking/packing, and operational efficiency.

· Implement and improve warehouse policies for inventory accuracy, space utilization, safety, and order turnaround time.

· Champion automation, WMS utilization, and lean practices to drive scalable performance.

Demand Planning & Cross-Functional Alignment

· Work with Commercial, Retail, Projects, and E-Commerce teams to align on demand forecasts and ensure stock availability.

· Develop planning processes that balance availability, speed, and working capital efficiency.

· Support new product launches, regional rollouts, and seasonal activity with dynamic supply planning.

Process Optimization & Reporting

· Define and track KPIs across procurement, logistics, and inventory — including cost savings, fill rates, OTIF, and working capital efficiency.

· Continuously optimize supply chain processes using technology, automation, and business intelligence.

· Deliver regular reporting to the executive team with actionable insights and improvement plans.

What You’ll Bring:

· Industry Expertise: Proven leadership in supply chain management, particularly in the Gulf region, with a track record of managing procurement, logistics, and warehousing operations.

· Analytical Mindset: strong analytical mindset with business acumen to interpret data and drive informed decisions.

· Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives on working closely with others to achieve shared goals, while also being able to take the lead of the supply chain team.

· Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of crafting compelling messaging and presenting ideas clearly.

· Sustainability Focus: Commitment to implementing sustainable and innovative supply chain practices.

What We're Looking For:

· We’re looking for a seasoned supply chain leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

· A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree is a strong advantage.

· 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including leadership roles across procurement, logistics, and warehousing—ideally within the Gulf region.

· Deep knowledge of 3PL operations, retail logistics, and performance-based supply chain strategies.

· Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, with a collaborative and people-first leadership style.

· Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing across all levels.

· A solid grasp of GCC supply chain dynamics, vendor ecosystems, and customs compliance.

· High proficiency in ERP and warehouse systems such as Dynamics 365, Oracle, or SAP.

· A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable supply chain practices.

· The confidence and drive to navigate complexity, champion change, and deliver meaningful results.
