Job Description

The Supply Chain Executive plays a critical role in managing and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain process within an organization. This position involves overseeing the entire supply chain process, from the acquisition of raw materials to the final delivery of products to consumers. The Supply Chain Executive is responsible for streamlining operations to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strategic planning, effective communication with vendors and internal teams, and a strong understanding of market trends and logistics. An adept problem-solver, the Supply Chain Executive will implement innovative solutions to improve the supply chain and achieve the company’s business objectives. This position will require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while ensuring timely delivery and budgetary adherence.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to distribution.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor supply chain operations to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
  • Utilize data analysis to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international supply chain regulations.
  • Develop relationships with key partners to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct audits to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Design and implement logistics strategies to optimize delivery processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of supply chain activities and transactions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to forecast and report data.
  • Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts effectively.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using supply chain management software and ERP systems.
