Job Description

The role of a Supply Chain Analyst is pivotal in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of an organization's supply chain processes. This position requires a strategic thinker who can optimize supply chain activities to reduce costs and improve service levels. A Supply Chain Analyst works closely with different departments to analyze and interpret data related to supply chain operations. They play an integral role in identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes to align supply chain processes with business objectives. The ideal candidate will not only possess strong analytical skills but also have excellent communication abilities, which are crucial for collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance supply chain performance. Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the supply chain processes.
  • Develop metrics to track supply chain performance and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement supply chain optimization projects to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor supply chain operations to ensure adherence to quality and accuracy standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management based on supply chain analytics.
  • Work with suppliers to improve lead times and enhance inventory control processes.
  • Utilize forecasting tools to predict demand and optimize inventory levels accordingly.
  • Research new technologies and methodologies to improve supply chain efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Support procurement activities by providing analytical insights into supplier performance and cost structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a supply chain analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and supply chain management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in analyzing supply chain data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for analytical tasks.
