Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst is a critical role within our organization, designed to optimize and streamline supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This position involves analyzing data related to supply chain operations, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to decision-makers. The Supply Chain Analyst will collaborate with various departments including procurement, operations, and logistics to ensure a seamless supply chain process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, have a keen eye for detail, and be adept at problem-solving. This role demands the ability to maintain a quality-centric approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and excellence in customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to enhance supply chain operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for inventory forecasting and optimization.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize freight and transportation costs.
  • Monitor supply chain key performance indicators to ensure targets are met.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and innovations.
  • Evaluate supplier contracts to ensure terms align with company objectives.
  • Utilize software systems to track product flow and delivery times.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a supply chain analyst role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various teams.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics software systems and technologies.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
