We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Dubai as a Strategic Projects Engineer.

The Strategic Projects Engineer will be responsible for managing and delivering technical support for all strategic projects within the assigned territory. This role will act as the primary technical contact for strategic customers, ensuring the highest level of technical service and coordination between internal and external stakeholders. The role requires the individual to be knowledgeable about the products and services offered by the company, and to have a strong technical background in the drywall industry.

The Strategic Projects Engineer provides technical support to customers to resolve technical issues and drive technical competency within the projects team. The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to identify and analyze problems, and the capacity to provide timely and effective solutions.

They work closely with product development teams, engineering/ technical office, and other stakeholders to ensure that product specifications meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines in the region. The collaborate with the sales team to ensure high conversion rates through collaborative and efficient commercial processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide technical assistance to Clients, consultants, and contractors on solutions, technical proposals, products, and services offered by the company.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support project specification efforts and ensure proposed systems meet relevant codes, standards, and fire/acoustic performance requirements.
  • Attend coordination meetings with customers, consultants, and contractors to clarify technical requirements.
  • Maintaining records of customer interactions and technical issues and reporting to management as needed.
  • Conduct pre-sales technical demonstrations and demonstrate technical advantages.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to drywall designs, technical installations and finishing.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze data on customer needs and preferences and provide feedback to the technical and product development teams.
  • Technical knowledge of the products and services offered by the company.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Specification, and Back-Office teams to align technical solutions with commercial objectives.
  • Maintain updated technical files and project tracking for all assigned projects. Monitor and follow up on project progress to ensure timely delivery of technical responses.

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical engineering support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction systems, standards, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant technical tools.
  • Customer-focused approach with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of professionalism and technical expertise.
