The Senior Analyst - SAP Functional (FICO) is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for the management and enhancement of financial processes using SAP FICO modules. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of SAP financial and controlling procedures and a keen ability to align these processes with the company’s strategic objectives. Working within the IT department, this role acts as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring that SAP FICO solutions meet the business's evolving needs. With a focus on optimizing systems and processes, the Senior Analyst will lead initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within financial operations. This role requires a strong combination of technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver integrated solutions that drive business success.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions.
• Coordinate and lead project teams to implement SAP FICO configurations and enhancements.
• Provide expertise in SAP Controlling and Financial Accounting to support corporate objectives.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of SAP FICO systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for all implemented SAP FICO processes and workflows.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate end-users on SAP FICO functionalities.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules effectively.
• Monitor and optimize SAP FICO processes to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support audit and compliance activities by ensuring accurate financial reporting and data integrity.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP FICO and relevant technologies.
• Provide technical support and timely resolution for SAP FICO-related queries from users.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial processes using SAP FICO capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience working with SAP FICO modules.
• Proven track record of implementing and optimizing SAP FICO solutions.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and SAP Controlling processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SAP reporting tools and data visualization techniques is preferred.
• Experience with S/4HANA and other SAP solutions is an advantage.
• Certification in SAP FICO is preferred but not mandatory for consideration.
