Amazon aims to offer the largest selection to our customers. MENAT Marketplace team currently seeks a result-oriented Senior Program Manager who can learn quickly and build trust with various stakeholders in a dynamically changing environment and work on strengthening one of the most important pillars of our growth - Selection. This person will collaborate with multiple marketplaces and central teams to derive insights and implement cross divisional performance initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to work across Amazon Stores and be a leading voice in senior leadership reviews. This high-profile role provides a significant opportunity to influence and shape MENAT processes for selection.

This role requires an individual with solid product and program management skills, ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, excellent statistical and analytical abilities, strong attention to detail, knowledge of business intelligence solutions (like Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Quicksight) as well as strong business acumen and ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with both business owners and other analytics teams. Flexibility, influencing others, and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will be key to the candidate's success.

Key job responsibilities

  • Coordinate priorities and projects with central teams, external data providers, and business teams to identify and offer relevant selection to customers;
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with senior leadership, presenting results, challenges and driving meaningful discussions to solve problems;
  • Develop comprehensive mechanisms to drive and capture marketplace actions on missing selection;
  • Own the selection funnel, identifying scalable initiatives to efficiently move selection from listing to first sale;
  • Work with Marketplace counterparts to create and implement the Stores level selection strategy;
  • Define and track the metrics and goals needed to measure success across critical work streams in the program
  • Identify challenges in selection addition and selection success and implement programs/products to drive solutioning at scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
