Job Description

As a Spa Receptionist at our luxurious wellness facility, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for everyone who enters our doors. Your primary duties will include handling requests and client bookings, both in person and over the phone, as well as maintaining the overall flow and ambiance of our spa. You will be responsible for ensuring that every client receives personalized and attentive care, creating memorable experiences that promote relaxation and rejuvenation. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential, as you will also coordinate with spa staff to synchronize schedules and ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and attentively as they enter the spa reception area.
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments efficiently over the phone or in person.
  • Provide detailed information about spa services, treatments, and packages.
  • Handle any inquiries and resolve client issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with spa therapists to align client appointments with staff availability.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa reception and waiting areas.
  • Manage financial transactions, including billing and processing payments accurately.
  • Promote spa services and products to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
  • Keep accurate records of client details, appointments, and feedback systematically.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain spa standards.
  • Conduct marketing initiatives and participate in promotional events as needed.
  • Assist in inventory management to ensure adequate supplies for spa operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a spa or hospitality environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities are required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including scheduling and point-of-sale software.
  • Ability to maintain a polite and professional demeanor consistently.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on client service and satisfaction.
