As a Software Presales Engineer, you will play a critical role in the sales process by demonstrating the technical capabilities and business value of our software solutions to prospective clients. You will work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements thoroughly, prepare compelling demonstration scenarios, and conduct high-level solution presentations. Your technical skills in software configuration, along with your ability to communicate complex solutions in a relatable way, will inspire confidence and trust in potential customers. You will be the bridge between our technical team and clients, showcasing how our software can solve customers' needs and propel their success forward. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and reputation of the business, providing innovative and tailored solutions to varied industries.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and craft tailored solutions.
  • Deliver compelling software demonstrations to prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage technical inquiries and address concerns during the sales process efficiently.
  • Create detailed solution designs and architecture that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Generate technical proposals and documentation to support the sales cycle.
  • Support sales teams in developing suitable strategies to close sales deals successfully.
  • Conduct customer needs analysis to ensure the best software fit and functionality.
  • Communicate unique selling points and competitive advantages of our software solutions.
  • Facilitate customer workshops to gather system and performance requirements effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technology solutions.
  • Coordinate product feedback and client requirements with internal research and development teams.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry-related events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years experience in software presales or technical consulting roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven experience in demonstrating software products to diverse types of audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Working knowledge of software architecture, databases, and networking fundamentals.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and events as necessary for meetings and presentations.
